Lunar Taps Former Salesforce Account Executive as Sales Manager

Orlando tech company continues to build team, adding talent from top companies

ORLANDO, Fla. – July 10, 2019 Lunar, a Salesforce consulting and SaaS technology company that automates and integrates technology to help companies get more out of their existing sales and marketing, welcomes Marc Rioux to its team as sales manager. A former account executive for Salesforce, Rioux will add valuable Salesforce insight, especially as it relates to integration and customization. Rioux will oversee both the consulting and product sides of Lunar’s sales team.

Lunar’s Salesforce consulting services help companies get the most out of their Salesforce investment by customizing the customer relations management (CRM) software to each organization’s unique needs.

“At Salesforce, I worked with a large spectrum of companies – ranging from one employee to more than 5,000 – and helped them identify the unique ways Salesforce could solve their biggest inefficiencies,” said Rioux. “I’m excited to apply the expertise I gained at Salesforce to meet our goals here at Lunar and constantly innovate for our customers.”

“Marc is an instant asset to our team, bringing a new level of credibility and expertise to our company,” said Jon Robinson, president at Lunar. “We’re pulling in top talent both nationally and locally who are excited about our trajectory, and that’s in large part due to our company culture, our passion for innovation and the relationships we’ve fostered along the way.”

Lunar was recently recognized by the Orlando Business Journal as a Best Place to Work. Lunar’s commitment to its culture pillars of “Expect the Moon,” “Better Together” and “Professionally Casual” contributed to its recognition on the list. Lunar’s employees are devoted to going above and beyond for their clients while enjoying a relaxed dress code, a flexible work-from-home policy, a generous parental leave policy and “responsible time off,” meaning as long as responsibilities are being met, employees can take off as much time as needed with approval.

Lunar also recently added former EA Sports global technology director and IBM software engineer Tim Platt to its executive team as executive VP of technology, building its reputation for attracting talent from top companies.
