Lunar Chosen to Present at ILTACON Startup Hub

Orlando SaaS company to speak and exhibit new texting solution at legal technology conference

ORLANDO, Fla. – Aug. 14, 2019 Lunar, an Orlando-based Salesforce consulting and SaaS technology company, today announces its acceptance to ILTACON Startup Hub. ILTACON is the leading legal technology conference for forward-thinking professionals who are looking for ways to more seamlessly integrate technology into the legal industry. Lunar’s kickoff event will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 3-6 p.m. at Lunar’s downtown Orlando office, located on the second floor of the 1 S. Orange Ave. building.

This year, Lunar integrated its business-to-business texting solution, Uplink, with SmartAdvocate, an award-winning legal case management system designed for personal injury and mass tort litigation practices. With this integration, Lunar’s Uplink allows law firms to utilize the ease of communicating with clients via text message and do it safely and securely. With Uplink, lawyers have the ability to text clients from their personal cell phone using a separate phone number unique to each user. All text conversations are automatically synced and saved in a law firm’s CRM, providing firms with full visibility into all activities.

A Lunar survey found 94% of people consider voicemail to be the least convenient form of communication, and 92% of people prefer texts or emails from a business or salesperson. As a result of this trend, law firms are turning to text messaging to better communicate with clients and are looking for new tools to carry out and document those conversations.

Lunar is scheduled to speak on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 2:55 p.m. at ILTACON’s Lounge 1 (Gilligan’s Island).
